About Me

My name is Rohit Jain. I’m a Java Developer in Infosys Limited, Bangalore. I’ve been working on Java for the past 3 years, and I’ve grabbed quite a bit of it. I like to learn various tips and tricks, and it gives me immense pleasure to share it with other programmers if I find one. And that is one reason why this blog has been created.

Although when I get bored, I try to learn something new. Mostly a new language all together. Recently I learned the basics of Python and C++, but as I said, I’m a Java developer. Apart from all this, I also like to work with regex. So you might occasionally see some post related to that on my blog.

As you already know, I’m not that experience a programmer, so there might well be some mistakes in my posts. I request you to point out if you find one.

hi Rohit, i have a kind of a personal question and it will be ur most kindness if u answer it.

I live in Bangalore and I have completed my BCA and currently am pursuing MCA, but problem is I find MCA so boring , I also skipped my first semester exams, but I have a good grasp on JAVA and am planning to complete OCPJP7 certification. So my question is , is certification plus my BCA degree enough to get me a job as a developer.

      Hi Aamir,

Sorry for the delay in reply. Now as for your concern, I’m no expert on this, but I would say you should really not compare MCA with Java certification. OCPJP although is an advantage, doesn’t guarantee to get you a job. If you have enrolled for MCA, it would be better to complete it. But you can get a job with BCA also. No issues. OCPJP doesn’t add anything to it.

But apart from concentrating on the certification (which is a child’s play if you have good grasp on Java), you should look into more advanced concepts, and frameworks, like Spring, Hibernate. Those are in demands currently. Plus make yourself more efficient in Core Java. Having crystal clear basics is really important for future perspective.

      I hope that helps you.

      Rohit Jain

Rohit I asked you a question couple of days ago and I think u have deleted it, if you don’t wanna answer it tell me straight that it is a lame question and I will stop posting in future

    • rohitjain1319 says:

No I didn’t delete it. It’s just that I didn’t logged in to my blog for few days. Sorry for the delay. Of course you’re welcome to comment or ask for any clarification on my blog, but please don’t be so rude and offensive in your replies. I might not be able to give a quick reply, but I would certainly do that. Also, you should understand that you might not get quick reply on public websites and blogs as the concerned user might be busy.
